Created for Mini Jam 114: Anime with the limitation "Locked In Place".

Story

You are going about your life as usual -- maybe running to the grocery store, or getting ready for work, or just sitting on your couch petting your cat -- when you are suddenly transported to another world! Apparently you're the Chosen One, destined to protect the boundary between worlds with your amazing magic powers.

One problem: something went wrong with the summoning ritual, and you're stuck in the portal.

Well, you can still sling spells from here. Defend the portal from the slimes that threaten to escape and attack your world!

Instructions

Turn your character with the W, A, and D keys. Fire a projectile with the spacebar. Press Z or the Slow button to temporarily slow down all slimes currently on-screen.

Your character loses health if a slime reaches them, and it's game over if your health hits 0.
